SARBAJANIN SRI SRI DURGA PUJA AND BADHA DASAIN SAMAROH, GREATER BANDARGURI
The Sarbajanin Sri Sri Durga Puja and Badha Dasain Samaroh at Greater Bandarguri (Udalguri, Assam) is a community‑led celebration organised by residents, elders and youth volunteers under the guidance of our advisory committee. The festival brings together Gorkha and local communities to worship, share culture and strengthen neighbourhood bonds.

Greater Bandarguri lies in Udalguri district in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) and is known for its vibrant, close‑knit villages. Our organising committee works year‑round to preserve traditions while supporting education and welfare activities in the area.

DURGA BASNET
DURGA BASNET serves as the PRESIDENT of the 91st Sarbajanin Sri Sri Durga Puja and Bada Dasain Samaroha Samiti, Bandarguri. It fills me with immense joy to share our festival updates, cultural programs, and community efforts through this online platform which has been started in this year (2025) so as to go with digital generation. Our Puja begun in 1935 and it was digitally so important to keep all the data since then onwards intact for records for all well wishers as our Durga Puja and Bada Dasain celebration is more than a mark.
